Situated along the shores of Lake Constance, this heritage boutique hotel occupies a beautifully restored historic building in the heart of Arbon. Originally opened in 2011, the renovation sought to breathe new life into the property while respecting its architectural character and welcoming a new generation of visitors to the town.

Moralii was engaged to transform the small bar, lobby, rooftop terrace and nine guest rooms, creating interiors that balanced heritage with contemporary comfort. Working within a carefully considered budget, the design introduced bespoke textiles, custom furnishings, new bathrooms, refined lighting and a restrained material palette to enhance warmth, atmosphere and functionality throughout the hotel.

Spanning approximately 370 m², the project demonstrates how thoughtful design, craftsmanship and carefully curated materials can revitalise historic architecture, creating spaces that feel both timeless and inviting.
